In 2007 roughly 30,000 b&w dupe negatives were discovered in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. After spending 1 year organizing the collection I have been traveling for the last 3+ years capturing stories that if not told will be lost.... This is Lost and Found. Wow.... that was incredibly cool.
Brings back memories of Haleiwa back in '69. Tiger Espera googling Gary Tjernagle dumping a whole tub of resin on the deck... no dabbling with Gary. He could glass an entire board is seconds... What ever happened to the Big Man, Tjernagle? Typically seen seen driving down Kam Hiway in his '59 blue Chevy with his borad, broken in two, strapped on top... Billy Hamilton, Boozer, Barry Kaniapuni, O'Mally, Diffenderfer, Hemmings... Too many old farts to mention... But Buzzy Trent gets an honorable mention!
