In 2007 roughly 30,000 b&w dupe negatives were discovered in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. After spending 1 year organizing the collection I have been traveling for the last 3+ years capturing stories that if not told will be lost.... This is Lost and Found. SKATING THE 70's
The skateboarding revolution exploded the same time surfing was. I remember taking a piece of wood and putting rollerskate wheels on the bottom and skating in our driveway. We were all influenced by guys like Larry Bertlemann & Jay Adams. Here are some images that I thought I would share ahead of time while proof sheets are going up in order.
