In 2007 roughly 30,000 b&w dupe negatives were discovered in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. After spending 1 year organizing the collection I have been traveling for the last 3+ years capturing stories that if not told will be lost.... This is Lost and Found. Kind words from Celeste Moureaux
Although we miss him every day, we will never forget the way he brought out the best in others. He really knew how to constructively encourage and always made time for those he felt sincerely wanted to learn. He was a teacher, first and foremost. He was the spark that ignited so many impassioned individuals. He wanted nothing more than for us to follow our hearts and make our dreams come true. Lost and Found is one such undertaking. Through many conversations with Doug over the course of this journey, we have shared Larry's passion for Surf Photography and the men and women both in front of and behind the lens. To Larry, it was all about character and commitment. Doug Walker embodies both qualities. This film is a testimony to his character and commitment. Thank you.
