In 2007 roughly 30,000 b&w dupe negatives were discovered in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Swapmeet. After spending 1 year organizing the collection I have been traveling for the last 3+ years capturing stories that if not told will be lost.... This is Lost and Found. Aloha Doug. I think everyone has stories, whether mine would be interesting enough for others to enjoy or be entertained is another question. The one I tell most often, that people seem to enjoy is how I ended up in Hawaii and how I was able to stay, with God's blessings. I think your project will be a huge success. "Surfers" in general, because they are nomadic by nature I think, can and have told some of the best I have ever heard, ala Big Wednesday for instance. Best of luck on your project and am looking forward to experiencing all that it has to offer. A hui hou.
